MONACO SALES STATISTICS
In recent years, the European real estate market has blossomed, attracting investors from all around the world. Real estate investment represents over 60% of the world’s mainstream assets and is considered to be one of the most secure placements. Monaco boasts the highest concentration of millionaires and the highest wealth density in the world, which makes it one of the most sought-after real estate investment locations worldwide. Today Monaco remains the most expensive property market in the world, and the annual sale and resale transactions reached 2.3 billion €. For the first time the price per square meter exceeds the symbolic mark of 50,000€, approaching 52,000€. By comparison, average square meter prices were 28,173€ back in 2021, which means that there has been a remarkable 75% increase over the last decade.
There were 440 sale and resale transactions in 2021. Last year the average home resale price was 5,000,000€.
The market is strong and stable. Monte-Carlo district has the highest values per square meter.
