LE STELLA

Delivered in August 2018, at 6 rue Augustin Vento, ‘Le Stella’ brings a daring and creative complex to the very heart of the Condamine – the Principality’s historical district and shopping area. This ambitious new development consists of two villas and 99 apartments, two floors for car parking, as well as office and retail space.

Inspired by the successful design of 'Le Simona', virtually all of the 1 and 2-bedroom apartments within the residence are duplexes, each benefitting from a bright, original, and resolutely modern living space.

The Stella’s elegant spiral structures are considered to be another steppingstone in the Principality’s forward-thinking, super-urbanised vision. The Stella accommodates 99 apartments, two villas, a school, the International University of Monaco and two stories of parking facilities.

The Timeless Beauty of La Condamine

When most people think of Monaco they think of two things: The Casino and the harbour. When you live at Le Stella in the La Condamine district both are at your beck and call. La Condamine encompasses the Port Hercule, the Quai Rainier III, The Monaco Yacht Club, the Jardin Exotique, the Stade Louis II, the Roseraie Princesse Grace and much more.

From the steep inclines, precipitous stairways and cavernous walls of the Rue Plati to the rows of seafaring, multimillion-dollar yachts that populate Port Hercule, La Condamine is a district of contrast and variety.  In the morning market stalls line the esplanade and the smell of coffee and pastries wafts from nearby cafes.

History

The name Condamine can be traced to the Middle Ages and refers to, what at the time, was cultivatable land. Of course, that cultivatable land has since been subsumed by development, but La Condamine maintains its links to its agrarian heritage in the form of the morning fruit and vegetable market, a highpoint of the authentic Monegasque experience.

La Condamine is located between Monaco-Ville and Monte Carlo and is the second oldest area of the Principality. At the southern end of La Condamine rises The Rock of Monaco, to the west the foothills of the Maritime Alps thrust skyward, and at the northern end of the district is the Place du Casino, the Opera of Monte Carlo and the Cafe de Paris await.

When it comes to compelling locations it doesn’t get any better than this. The area has an authentic European air to it while the lure of the Mediterranean is ever-present. And let’s not forget the Monaco Grand Prix with all the major grandstands and the pit area located in La Condamine.
